A fitting way to live

Take a look at the Sage home we built at The Waters, our new home community in Moore, OK. This 4-bedroom 2-bath, single-family home features the open concept that presents the spacious, airy feeling that’s so desirable. We invested square footage here, where families congregate.

The kitchen is appointed with an oversized island that provides a breakfast bar—large enough to accommodate four people or to serve as a buffet when you’re entertaining. The island offers valuable storage, too, in addition to plentiful cabinetry. Homes By Taber wants your kitchen to be as stylish as it is functional, so we include granite countertops, crown molding, decorative tile backsplash, under-cabinet task lighting, gas cooktop, and ENERGY STAR stainless steel appliances.

The kitchen overlooks the family room, which has its own unique details. A  gas fireplace with custom stone surround and wood mantel will keep you warm and cozy on chilly Oklahoma days and nights. The sliding barn door (also standard) separates the main living area from a vestibule that leads to two of the bedrooms in the floor plan. 

The Sage has a fourth bedroom off the foyer. If you don’t need the extra bedroom, maybe you could use it as a study, library, media room, home office, hobby space, playroom, yoga studio, man cave, or music room. 

The masterful choice

One of the “ah” moments of the Sage is the master suite. Sometimes, it’s not about space, but details—and you’ll find plenty of them here. The master bedroom is nicely sized. We make it feel even more “masterful” with the tray ceiling here. Then we continue the luxury in the master bath. Dual vanities feature under-mount sinks and decorator cabinetry. We’ve also included a walk-in shower and jetted tub.

Smart design, inside out

The Sage floor plan lets you easily extend your living space outdoors. Watch the neighborhood activity from your covered front porch, which is nicely accented with a hint of farmhouse detail. The covered patio in the rear is equipped with a wood-burning fireplace. Homes By Taber also prepares this area by installing hook-ups for a gas line for your grill and cable for your television. 

The three-car garage is almost 600 square feet. Don’t need to park three vehicles? Then you have space for the long-awaited workshop!

Finally, we install a storm shelter in the floor of the garage so you never have to worry about your family’s safety when the warning sounds.
