When Homes By Taber builds a showcase home, you can be sure it’s exceptional—a clear reflection of our creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. We like to show homebuyers the potential for creating a masterpiece of their own with very limited enhancements added in each one. With more model homes just completed and under construction, we invite you to see how we’re strutting our stuff in 3 new “supermodel” homes.
Dad would be proud
Another new community, Delmer Lakes, is a labor of love for the Homes By Taber family. As you may know, it’s a tribute to John Delmer Alexander, Taber LeBlanc’s mentor, partner, and father-in-law. John passed away a few years ago, but his legacy lives on. John enjoyed reflecting by the pond and windmill at his own home just down the road from the Delmer Lakes location in Edmond. The large lake and the lakefront homesites in Delmer Lakes, made this the perfect community to name after Mr. Alexander. In his honor, we’ve constructed a windmill at the entrance to the community that bears his name.
With that in mind, it’s natural that we are putting special attention into the model home at Delmer Lakes. We chose the Mallory Bonus Room floor plan to build at 4124 Armstead Avenue.
Every time we build a showcase home for sale in the Mallory Bonus Room design, it sells so quickly that we can’t show it off for long. So, we made it into a model home so that our customers can truly experience the style and sensibility of a fully furnished example.
What’s so special about the Mallory Bonus Room? For starters, there’s a lot of living space here—2,640 square feet indoor and a 315 square-foot, fully finished patio (including a wood-burning fireplace (not to mention a 630-square-foot, 3-car garage that is particularly enticing to some buyers). The master suite is one of the reasons people fall in love with the Mallory (with or without the upstairs bonus room). It’s creatively laid out, with the master bath forming an L-shape that includes a large corner soaking tub (jetted, like all of our master baths).
The kitchen’s very large island is angled and in a batwing shape, giving more surface space that wraps around the area. This floor plan also gives you the option to turn the island to face the large windows towards the backyard.
The Delmer Lakes model home is partially constructed with energy efficient insulation being installed now, so you can’t yet see all the fine finishes. By early September, we’ll be ready to show of this Homes By Taber supermodel. In the meantime, we have homes that will be ready soon and homesites you really need to see for yourself! Frankie Lewis can get your started on your Delmer Lakes experience. The state of the art sales trailer is out in Delmer now to greet new homeowners and help them stake their claim to this limited opportunity neighborhood.
A sneak peak
Park Place Heights is now selling in Mustang. We have big plans for this community of single-family homes. The floor plans range from 1,500 to 2,250 square feet—a variety of options to fit just about any lifestyle!
The Homes By Taber model uses our newest floor plan, the Kamber at 4101 Palisade Lane. We’ve almost finished furnishing this home and also have 6 more homes under construction in various phases. The Kamber was designed for people who don’t need (or want) more than 3 bedrooms but do want more square footage. The floor plan gives everyone what they want—comfortably-sized bedrooms and a main living area with room to move around. The kitchen is going to make you stop and absorb every detail. This is the kind of chef’s kitchen you’d rarely find in a home this size!
The split floor plan situates the 2 secondary bedrooms on one side of the home, near the front, and share the second full bath. The vestibule entry adds privacy.
The master suite is set in the back of the home, diagonally opposite from the other bedrooms. Here’s your “me” zone. Unwind in a gorgeous bedroom with plenty of space. Treat yourself to the spa-like features in your bathroom: the soothing joy of a jetted tub and oversized walk-in shower. Of course, we included dual vanities and a private water closet. And to make your life a bit easier, the walk-in closet accesses the laundry room, the homeowner’s SOS (Save On Steps).
We are really excited about Park Place Heights and you’ll see the enthusiasm reflected in this model home. Make a plan now to come for a visit and tour the homes and homesites!
All of these homes—like each one we build—reflects our “Proudly Overbuilt” commitment. Homes By Taber always includes a storm shelter in the garage floor, air filtration system, security system, fully sodded yard with a sprinkler system that can be controlled from an app on your phone, and our energy-efficient features that contribute to outstanding savings.
