OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City homebuilder Homes By Taber launched Britton Farms, its third community of new homes in Yukon on Saturday, February 29. The first day brought enthusiastic house-hunters, forming a line to be first for the 10 AM opening, with six of them contracting to be one of the first families of the neighborhood near John Kilpatrick Turnpike.
Britton Farms offers 76 homes in the first phase and the choice of 45 floor plans that range from 1,500 to 3,350 square feet of interior space. “We offer a broad selection of home designs to appeal to an equally wide variety of lifestyles, from the first-time homebuyer to the growing family and the right-sizers,” explains Lindsay Haltom, Homes by Taber’s Director of Marketing.
Homes by Taber is planning new community amenities to add to the neighborhood’s appeal: swimming pool, playground, basketball court, and a pond. Located on West Britton Road, Britton Farms is close to the Northwest Expressway as well as the Kilpatrick Turnpike, allowing for an easy commute to Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas. The neighborhood is served by Yukon’s highly rated school system, with a choice of elementary schools including Surrey Hills Elementary and Independence Elementary. Upper grades will attend Yukon Middle and Yukon High School.
Haltom added that Homes by Taber had received a high number of inquiries since they first announced the plans for Britton Farms in Yukon. The turnout at Saturday’s opening reflected that enthusiasm, with six homebuyers selecting their homesite and floor plan.
Homes by Taber’s list of standard features includes a storm shelter, smart home TaberTech smart home automation system, healthy home technology for clean air in the home, granite and quartz countertops, stainless steel energy-efficient appliances, jetted tub in the master bath, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, Rinnai tankless water heater for endless hot water, gas fireplace in the living room, and a wood-burning fireplace on the extended covered patio, among many others.
Construction on the first homes at Britton Farms has begun with the model home projected to be complete in May 2020. For information on the remaining homesites and homes, contact Frankie Lewis.
