Homes by Taber Announces 2023 Taber Cares Recipients

Oklahoma home builder, Homes by Taber, recently announced 2023 recipients for their charity initiative, Taber Cares. The foundation selected 12 local non-profits for each month of the year to receive $250 for every home sold in that month. Since the program’s inception, Homes by Taber has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars and volunteered tens of thousands of hours of time. 

The following charities were selected as recipients, thanks to their ongoing impact on the community and shared mission that Homes by Taber wishes to contribute towards: 

 January Recipient – Edmond Mobile Meals 

February Recipient – Focus on Home  

March Recipient – American Lung Association Oklahoma 

April Recipient - Wings 

May Recipient – Autism Oklahoma 

June Recipient – Sisu Youth Services 

July Recipient – Positive Tomorrows  

August Recipient – The ComeBack Kid Society

September Recipient – Citizens Caring for Children 

October Recipient – Project 31 

November Recipient – The Dragonfly Home 

December Recipient – City Care  

In addition to financial contributions, Taber Cares also works with each recipient to organize volunteer efforts throughout the year. Homes by Taber employees are encouraged to give back to the community by volunteering their time and efforts, all while on the clock. The employees adore the opportunity to step away from work duties to help those who need it most and contribute to their communities in which they build.  

 Homes by Taber is known as Oklahoma’s Favorite Builder. With that title comes an obligation and commitment to building up those in need. Taber Cares was founded on the principle that staying involved with the local community will benefit Oklahomans for generations to come and will leave Oklahoma a better place. Thanks to the partnerships the builder has developed with local charities, Taber Cares looks forward to contributing financial and volunteer gifts throughout 2023.
